| 6/17/18: near St. Marks NWR, FL: The second and last day in the area we found another family of Clapper Rails! (Click on NEXT PAGE below.) It was also a treat to see a small Purple Martin flock hanging around a wooden frame - instead of PVC pipe - in someone's backyard. Then we found a Great Crested Flycatcher nest and got to see what the family was having for lunch. Also: a Carolina Wren singing. |
