3/11/12 Hangzhou, China:  A Speckled Piculet study - an astonishing little bird who hardly ever stopped
moving.  A Red-billed Blue Magpie flock  was seen again as was the Brown Crake who obliged us with
some poses. Also shown, a Red-flanked Bluetail , White-rumped Munia , a stunning little Black-throated
Tit , a Light-vented Bulbul and an Oriental Magpie Robin along with an Eastern Great Tit.
3/10/12 Dishui Lake near Shanghai, China: a Chinese Penduline Tit study , an Eastern Marsh Harrier , a
Little Egret flock in flight, a Pallas's Reed Bunting flock (breeding plumage soon), and a Reed Parrotbill
sitting out on the edge of the marsh.
3/17/12 Hokkaido, Japan:  The star of our Japan visit had to be the dancing Red-crowned Crane (s), many
of which we were able to see interacting.  Also shown: Whooper Swan, Great Spotted Woodpecker, and
Eurasian Jay.  Pics of Eagles coming soon.
