| 3/11/12 Hangzhou, China: A Speckled Piculet study - an astonishing little bird who hardly ever stopped moving. A Red-billed Blue Magpie flock was seen again as was the Brown Crake who obliged us with some poses. Also shown, a Red-flanked Bluetail , White-rumped Munia , a stunning little Black-throated Tit , a Light-vented Bulbul and an Oriental Magpie Robin along with an Eastern Great Tit. |

| 3/10/12 Dishui Lake near Shanghai, China: a Chinese Penduline Tit study , an Eastern Marsh Harrier , a Little Egret flock in flight, a Pallas's Reed Bunting flock (breeding plumage soon), and a Reed Parrotbill sitting out on the edge of the marsh. |

| 3/17/12 Hokkaido, Japan: The star of our Japan visit had to be the dancing Red-crowned Crane (s), many of which we were able to see interacting. Also shown: Whooper Swan, Great Spotted Woodpecker, and Eurasian Jay. Pics of Eagles coming soon. |
