| 8/24+25/12 North of Rudong, China: An Eastern Black-tailed Godwit flock showed up and two birds are shown in different plumages. Also, a Broad-billed Sandpiper study showing various plumages. A Eurasian Kestrel was hunting the seawall and was at rest when a Common Hoopoe decided to land nearby. Finally, a Common Greenshank and a Eurasian Oystercatcher. |
| 8/24+25/12 North of Rudong, China: It was an unexpected treat to have a Grey Nightjar land nearby. The bird allowed us to get quite close but we were careful not to disturb its rest. Also shown: Great Knot study, Lesser Sand Plover study, Little Egret flock and individuals fishing, and a Great Sand Plover. |
