11/5/2016 Tasmania, AUSTRALIA:  Made it to Tasmania!  Of the 12 endemics, we caught 11. The first day, we
had to get over to Inala Reserve on Bruny Island to see the Forty-spotted Pardalote. (They did come out
to pose but we don't think our pics do the little guys justice.) Tonya has done an absolutely wonderful job
of protecting this species and we thank her for this and the wonderful tour of the property!  After a
special morning there, we wandered about the island and then took the ferry back that afternoon.
We also saw:  Flame Robin (m,f) , New Holland Honeyeater , Brown Thornbill , Strong-billed Honeyeater ,
Striated Pardalote , Scarlet Robin (m,f), Kelp Gull , Pacific Gull , Tasmanian Native-hen , and a distant
sighting of the rare Swift Parrot .
11/5/2016 Tasmania, AUSTRALIA:  Dusky Robin , juvenile Crescent Honeyeater , Forest Raven ,
Black-headed Honeyeater , Australian Wood Duck , Australian Pied Oystercatcher , and Sooty
Oystercatcher.
11/5/2016 Tasmania, AUSTRALIA:  Tasmanian Thornbill , Tree Martin , and Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo .
