| 12/21/2013-1/2/2014 Darwin, Australia: We had an amazing trip to Australia's Northern Territory. 12/24/13 From Darwin we headed towards Kakadu NP via Howard Springs, Fogg Dam Reserve, Leaning Tree Park, Window on the Wetlands, and the Aurora area where we spent a couple of fabulous days in 104 degree heat. Some pics from the Yellow Water cruise and surrounding area: White-bellied Sea-Eagle , Whiskered Tern , Sulphur-crested Cockatoo , Pink-eared Duck , Whistling Kite , Pied Imperial-Pigeon , Intermediate Egret , and a distant Red-backed Kingfisher . |
| 12/21/2013-1/2/2014 Darwin, Australia: 12/24/13 From Darwin we headed towards Kakadu NP via Howard Springs, Fogg Dam Reserve, Leaning Tree Park, Window on the Wetlands, and took a Yellow Water cruise: Northern Rosella , Green Pigmy-goose , Nankeen Night-Heron , (and the geese in flight), Glossy Ibis in flight , Eastern Koel (m), Australian Darter , Bowerbird , Blue-winged Kookaburra (m+f), Black Bittern , and Bar- shouldered Dove. |
