| 5/11-13/10 Orlando, Florida: Took a few hours each morning to grab some photos of the two nest sites: the Red-shouldered Hawk had 3 chicks almost ready to fledge! They were eating frogs (One chick stole a frog meal from another), a snake, and lizards. The Pileated Woodpecker nest had 3 male chicks peeking out. Both male and female adults showed up to feed the hungry trio. WOW - thrilling! |
