| 12/16/20 to 12/30/20 We traveled to see family and birded as we quarantined between families. We stopped at Quivira NWR, KS, on the way west and caught wonderful hawk morphs, then hit CO, NV, TX, AR, seeing the Spotted Rail, Sprague's Pipit, and Smith's Longspur and so much more. | 12/19/2020 to 12/22/20 Las Vegas and Lake Mead area, NV: Wonderful weather had us catching Northern Flicker , Gambel's Quail pair posing for us , Gadwall , Say's Phoebe , Common Galinule , Ruddy Duck , Green-winged Teal , Lesser Scaup , Marsh Wren peeking out , Costa's Hummingbird , Cinnamon Teal , Abert's Tohwee , and a Golden Eagle we saw on the way to Bryce Canyon NP. |
