2/5/2015 to 2/27/2015 We flew to the "End of the World" Ushuaia, Terra del Fuego, Argentina with the
intent on catching our One Ocean ship, the Akademik Sergey Vavilov, to Antarctica via the Falklands and
South Georgia.  Our Tropical Birding guide, Andrew Spencer, was very knowledgeable and we were
pleased to have him help us identify all we saw.    (Click on NEXT PAGE below to go back in time and see

2/9/2015  Birding en route from Carcass Island to Stanley, Falkland Islands, a few birds from Stanley, and
en route to South Georgia: Northern Giant Petrel , Magellanic Penguin , Great Shearwater , Black-browed
Albatross , Austral Thrush , and Rock Cormorant with juveniles.  A Peale Dolphin trio lazed about in the
water at Gypsy Cove near Stanley.

2/11/2015  Birding en route from Falkland Islands to South Georgia: An Antarctic Prion study:  Beautiful
little birds and definitely thicker bills than the Slender-billed Prions!
