| 4/29/2013: South of Shanghai, China : Oriental Practicole study (very cool birds) and a Little Curlew pair (shot thru a wire fence unfortunately) greeted us on an early morning outing. Also: Grey Wagtail , Great Crested Grebe , Long-tailed Shrike , Chinese Pond Heron flock in flight , Blue-and-white Flycatcher (for more Flycatchers pics click on NEXT PAGE below) , and Pale Thrush . |
| 5/1/2013: Century Park and South of Shanghai, China : Azure-winged Magpie study (they were posing in flowers and collecting nesting material), Chinese Bulbul , Common Sandpiper , Japanese Thrush , Long-tailed Shrike , Little Curlew and Whimbrel (both shot thru a wire fence unfortunately), and Pallas's Reed Bunting in breeding plummage. |
