9/24/12 A lovely morning at Dishua Lake, China:  An accipiter flyby flushed a Blue-and-White Flycatcher
pair (m+f) out into the open.  They had been very good skulkers until then.  Also: a juv. Brown Shrike
hunting worms,  an Eastern Crowned Warbler with a spider, a Grey Nightjar just sitting on the side of the
road , a Grey-streaked Flycatcher , a "brown irised" Lesser Cuckoo who refused to come out to play but
was very interesting nevertheless, and a couple of Siberian Thrushes who surprisingly joined the party.
back to 8/25/12 near Rudong, China:  A few more pics were found.   Shown: Far Eastern Curlew ,  Eastern
Black-tailed Godwit (and with two together in diff plum.), Great Knot (and with Red Knot), and Red Knot.
Everyone was busy eating the tiny clams they were finding in the mud.
