| 12/21/2013-1/2/2014 Darwin, Australia: We had an amazing trip to Australia's Northern Territory. 12/22/13 From Darwin we headed towards Kakadu NP via Howard Springs, Fogg Dam Reserve, Leaning Tree Park, Window on the Wetlands, and the Aurora area where we spent a couple of fabulous days. Along the way: Royal Spoonbill , Sulphur-crested Cockatoo , Whistling Kite , White-browed Crake , and White-necked Heron . |

Along the way: Red-winged Parrot , Rainbow Bee-eater , Pied Heron , Pheasant Coucal , Little Corella , Lemon-bellied Flycatcher , Galah , Forest Kingfisher , juv. Figbird , Eastern Great Egret , Comb-crested Jacana , Cattle Egret , Brown Falcon , Black-winged Stilt , Black Kite , and Australian White Ibis up close and in flight. |
