| 7/24+25: Two quick trips, one to Bombay Hook, DE, and to Conowingo, MD rewarded us with a few images. Bombay Hook had a beautiful male Ruby-throated Hummingbird (after AZ trip, it was hard to get hummers off the brain! Click NEXT PAGE(S) for Hummers from AZ) and a Female or imm. in flight. Also shown, an imm. Bald Eagle and Turkey Vulture from Conowingo Dam, and beautiful Northern Flicker from Hockessin, DE. |

| Back to 7/1 thru 8 trip to AZ: Still going thru pics from AZ. Shown here: Summer Tanager (m+imm) , Acorn Woodpecker (m+f but didn't see the chicks), House Finch , Rufous-crowned Sparrow , Phainopepla (m+f), Plumbeous Vireo , male Hooded Oriole , the last little Broad-billed Hummingbird (m). To see more AZ hummers, go to NEXT PAGE(S) below. Pronghorn deer were seen roaming the range and butterflies were outstanding. Blues were gathered along the creek and 50 - 60 would swirl up as we hiked by! |

| Weekend of 8/6, 8/7 and 8/8/10 continued: An inquisitive male Indigo Bunting, peeps in reflection, a Ruby-throated Hummingbird study with a Stilt Sandpiper , a juv. Red-winged Blackbird tasting the flowers, a Caspian Tern fishing, more Semipamated Sandpipers and a Lesser Yellowlegs . |
