1/18/21: Amelia Island, FL: A Bonaparte's Gull was dipping and feeding along the shore. Unfortunately, the light wasn't great, but we tried for photos anyway since we don't get to see Bonaparte's Gulls often! |
1/20/21: Amelia Island and Nassau County, FL: This Red-headed Woodpecker seemed to be a bit too ambitious with its lunch menu while a Pine Warbler was feeding on the ground. We were also out earlier in the morning, trying to catch Black Skimmers and Brown Pelicans flying by at sunrise. Also: Forster's Tern , White Pelican , Red-throated Loon , Sanderling , and a White-eyed Vireo . |
