| 5/23/09 Redknot and Ruddy Turnstone (some bathing) were gobbling Horseshoe Crab eggs along with many peeps. A Short-billed Dowitcher and Dunlin bathing posed for us as well! |
| 6/6/09 Conowingo Dam, MD was hopping. A family of Louisiana Waterthrush made a showing and we caught a beautiful Prothonotory Warbler checking out a nest hole. A Song Sparrow had had its brood already and didn't want much to do with the youngsters anymore. |
| 6/7/09 White Clay Creek State Park had a Hairy Woodpecker nest along with an Ovenbird feeding its young. A Yellow-throated Vireo made a brief showing overhead along with a 1st year Orchard Oriole . |
| 6/13/09 A trip south of Milford, DE rendered many delightful birds: Dickcissel , Grasshopper Sparrow , Vesper Sparrow , Blue Grosbeak (m,f,) a 1st year Orchard Oriole , and a Purple Martin . |
