We use Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II and 1D Mark IV (after 7/12/11) cameras with various IS lenses. Some photos were taken by digiscoping.

Please respect our copyright. Our Philosophy is to respect the Birds and Wildlife and to try not to disturb them. We use no tapes or flash.
(IF you keep squawking at a bird via tape "GET OUTTA HERE, IT'S MY TERRITORY!" he will probably leave the area, right? Do YOU know
what your tape is saying?) We believe in the 3x's rule: approach a bird 3x's and if it isn't interested in posing, leave it be. We do spend a
long time taking and editing these photographs.  Please ask for permission! (Flash photography of any animal exhibited on this site is NFS -

Northern Harrier, DE
As of Jan 1, 2011, we are off to CHINA for at least 2 years!  We will be based in Shanghai, but hope to travel and see all there is to see.  We also
