We have used the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II in the past, and now use 1D Mark IV and 1 DX cameras (after 7/12/11) with various IS lenses.

(IF you keep squawking at a bird via tape "GET OUTTA HERE, IT'S MY TERRITORY!" he will probably leave the area, right? Do YOU know what your tape is saying?) We believe in the 3x's rule: approach a bird 3x's and if it isn't interested in posing, leave it be. We do spend a long time taking and editing these photographs. Please ask for permission! We donate to many groups that promote the love of birds and those that attempt to education the public on wildlife protection - just ask!
